Desert Blush is an earthy colorway, featuring shades of tan, soft lavender and earthy mauve purple.
Colorway: Desert Horizon
Content: 85% Polwarth wool / 15% Tussah Silk
Weight: 5 oz
Polwarth sheep are a cross between the Merino and Lincoln breeds. With a longer staple length (5 to 7 inches) and fine 21 to 25 micron count, this fiber is a delight to spin and a joy for wet felting. Known for its elasticity, durability and excellent drape, this wonderful fiber has been blended with tussah silk, adding a luxurious subtle sheen to your fiber art projects.
The photos used are stock photos for this colorway. All available braids in this fiber content are from the same dyelot.
All of my fibers are dyed by hand with professional acid dyes, a process by which the dyes permanently bond with the fiber. Please note that colors vary depending on your computer and color settings. Since I mix my own unique colors from basic primary colors and due to the nature of the hand dyeing process, colors may also vary slightly from dye bath to dye bath.
