Merino wool and silk fiber is perfect for all your spinning and felting projects. With a 21.5 micron count and a 3 to 5 inch staple length, this fiber is a luscious blend of soft, fine merino wool and strong, shimmering tussah silk.
Merino wool is a joy to spin, the silk adding a beautiful lustrous sheen. It is also equally wonderful to use in nuno and other wet felting techniques.

Each braid of fiber is hand-dyed by me in my studio, mixing my own unique colors from basic primary colors. As a result of my hand-dyeing process, each braid will be slightly different even if dyed next to each other. I believe that's the unique beauty of hand-dyed yarns and fibers.
